Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced OHS Business Partner for a temporary contract role based in Mooroopna with the possibility of an extension.

Role Details
- Location: Mooroopna
- Contract Period: May 2026 – October 2026 with the possibility of an extension
- Partner with leaders to embed safety into operational and strategic decision-making
- Provide practical guidance and interpretation of WHS legislation and safety standards
- Lead risk identification, assessment, and control measures using the hierarchy of controls
- Conduct workplace risk assessments
- Lead and/or support incident, injury, and near miss investigations to determine root causes
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and sustained
- Maintain compliant, governance-aligned, and audit-ready safety systems
- Coach and support leaders and supervisors to strengthen safety leadership capability
- Analyse safety data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a Workplace Health & Safety / OHS advisory or business partner role
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements, and safety systems
- Experience conducting investigations, risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence leaders and build a positive safety culture
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
