Rate:$41 per hour + super
Contract: ASAP start. Minimum 4‑month assignment, with potential to extend up to 7 months
Work arrangement: Full time on‑site (no hybrid). A current driver’s licence and own vehicle are required.
This role is responsible for planning and delivering marketing, promotions and engagement activities for Council‑owned Community Centres and Venues.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will support the growth, diversity and utilisation of facilities through targeted campaigns, digital marketing, events promotion and community engagement initiatives.
The role suits a hands‑on marketing professional who is confident managing campaigns end‑to‑end, working across print, digital and social channels, and supporting events and activation activities in a community‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver marketing and promotional campaigns across print, digital, social and e‑marketing channels
- Develop content and collateral using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator
- Support engagement plans and activation activities to increase utilisation of Community Centres and Venues
- Manage online marketing, social media content and website updates in line with guidelines
- Support event promotion and campaign delivery for community events and venue activities
- Use tools such as Eventbrite to support ticketing, bookings and campaign insights
- Assist with market research activities, customer surveys and feedback collection
- Liaise with internal teams, community groups and external suppliers to deliver campaigns effectively
- Provide strong administrative and reporting support relating to marketing activities
- Experience in marketing, promotions or advertising campaign management
- Strong capability with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator essential)
- Experience with online marketing and social media platforms
- Familiarity with Eventbrite or similar ticketing systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously on‑site
- A current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
