We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a high-performing infrastructure team. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance and repair works across a diverse portfolio including roads, drainage, footpaths, parks, and public amenities.
You will play a key role in supervising crews, coordinating works, and ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys both field-based work and team management.
Duties
- Supervise maintenance crews and coordinate daily works across civil and open space assets
- Plan, control and deliver works to ensure optimal use of labour, plant, and materials
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet contract specifications
- Interpret plans and drawings and ensure compliance with standards and requirements
- Prepare estimates, track costs and report on variances
- Maintain accurate records including timesheets, plant checks, and job data
Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) or strong demonstrated experience in civil maintenance (roads, drainage, etc.)
- Previous experience supervising crews in a civil or infrastructure environment
- Strong understanding of WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret plans, prepare estimates, and manage project costs
- Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence, White Card (Construction Induction), ability to pass a drug
