About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on a range of heavy equipment, both in the workshop and on-site. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is maintained to a high safety and operational standard to support site productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and breakdown support on heavy mining and construction equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults across a variety of mobile plant and machinery
- Complete preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer and site schedules
- Maintain accurate service records and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, policies and PPE requirements
- Work closely with site personnel to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks
Skills & Qualification
- Relevant Electrical qualification
- Previous experience working on heavy mining or construction equipment
- Current Order 45 medical, or willingness to obtain
- Strong fault-finding ability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- MTW site induction completed, or willingness to complete prior to commencement
- Relevant additional tickets and licences will be highly regarded
Site & Safety Requirements
- Ability to meet site medical, drug and alcohol testing, and PPE requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
