Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Handyman to support maintenance and operational activities across our poultry farming operations. This role suits a proactive individual with hands-on experience across multiple trades who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Carry out basic welding and fabrication tasks
- Undertake carpentry work as required
- Complete routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs
- Assist with surface preparation and painting
- Support concreting and tiling tasks
- Perform basic plumbing duties (where certification is not required)
- Provide support to Farm Managers, including assisting with birds when needed
- Demonstrated practical experience across a range of trade-related tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to take on diverse tasks in a rural environment
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
