We are looking for an experienced and confident Exhibition Sales Representative to work at our stand during Australian Manufacturing Week.
This is not a passive promotional role. We are looking for someone who can confidently engage with manufacturers and industry professionals, identify opportunities, and potentially secure advertising interest or sales conversations on the spot.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable discussing why we are one of Australia’s leading manufacturing media platforms and be able to clearly communicate the value of our products, audience, and advertising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with visitors and initiate meaningful conversations
- Promote our media platforms and advertising opportunities
- Visit exhibitor stands to introduce the company and build connections
- Distribute magazines and marketing material strategically
- Identify potential advertisers and sales opportunities
- Capture and record quality sales leads accurately
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Provide brief daily updates on conversations and leads generated
Ideal Candidate
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Confident speaking with business owners, marketing managers, and decision-makers
- Previous media sales or proven sales experience preferred
- Able to quickly build rapport and hold engaging business conversations
- Professional presentation and proactive attitude
- Experience in B2B sales, publishing, events, or manufacturing industries highly regarded
