Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support asset management and maintenance functions within a fixed plant environment.
This role will play a key part in supporting engineering programs, ensuring asset performance, reliability, and compliance across operations. You will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the delivery of safe, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose engineering outcomes.
This position is ideally suited to an early-career Electrical Engineer (2–3+ years post-graduate) with experience in low voltage systems and fixed plant maintenance, who is looking to further develop within a structured asset management environment.
About the Role Reporting to the Engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will provide technical support across asset management systems, maintenance functions, and minor project work.
You will play a key role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of asset management processes, while contributing to operational reliability and compliance across site.


Engineering Support & Asset Management
  • Support and monitor implementation of asset management systems
  • Assist in identifying improvement opportunities through stakeholder engagement
  • Work collaboratively with site teams to embed and sustain asset processes
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and operational teams
Asset Performance & Data Analysis
  • Collect and review data from multiple monitoring sources
  • Provide low-level assessments on asset health and risk
  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Assist in identifying reliability and performance improvements
Standards & Compliance
  • Support compliance with engineering and performance standards
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to group and site-specific requirements
  • Contribute to assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • 2–3+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer (post-graduate)
  • Experience with low voltage systems
  • Exposure to fixed plant maintenance environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work within structured engineering and asset management systems
Roster & Duration
  • Monday to Friday roster (40-hour week)
  • Contract through to December 2026 (subject to business confirmation)
  • Anticipated start: May 2026
