Are you an Experienced HV Electrical Coordinator gained in a mining environment, seeking a locally based role where you get to sleep in your own bed every night?  We seek an Electrical Coordinator (Shift & Utilities) to provide technical expertise and oversee the activities of High Voltage maintenance teams.

We have been tasked in sourcing an experience individual within our client’s maintenance team to coordinate and level contracting resources for maintenance and break in work surrounding Electrical High Voltage assets.

About the role
The key accountability is to ensure the optimal allocation of resources over the daily to weekly planning horizon such that the required work at the refinery is completed in a coordinated manner and in compliance with the relevant safety and technical standards, incorporating:
  • Unplanned works
  • Planned works
  • Contractors- Assist with contractor onboarding, provisioning and vehicles etc
  • Development and training- develop and implement a technical training plan for HV group
  • Shutdown – scheduling and resourcing
  • Leadership- Provide leave support and coverage for superintendent, and assist/input superintendents – technical, budget and strategy
  • Resourcing & Planning – Assist Supervisors in development of daily priorities
  • Performance – supporting to achieve KPI targets
  • Recruitment – Liaise with and assist the SI with approvals for talent sourcing
  • Statutory | Compliance | Nominee Duties


What Skills do I Need:
  • Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within the Mining / Refinery industry
  • Knowledge of the Bayer Process and Refinery equipment
  • Knowledge of fixed plant equipment and the maintenance of it.
  • Ability to provide technical knowledge and practical advice to support and coach employees
  • High level of computer literacy and understanding of the existing SAP System; a comprehensive knowledge of the various software packages

This is a residentially based role on-site and would suit candidates living locally in the Collie/Boddington/Harvey/Bunbury/Peel area.

If successful, you will be rewarded with:
  • Solid package of base salary + 14% superannuation
  • 10% annual bonus ~ KPI Driven
  • Permanent salaried role
  • 4 x days per week| sleep in your own bed | 10 hour days
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Local, residential position
