Control Room Operator

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Control Room Operator to support the team at Baiada, Hanwood.

About the role
In your new role of control room operator, you will support the team in:
 

• Operating and monitoring feed mill machinery and loading trucks via the control room.
• Loading and unloading bulk feed and raw using the forklift.
• Maintaining accurate records of feed ingredients and stock movement.
• Assisting with inventory checks and stock reconciliation.
• Liaising with logistics and production teams to coordinate feed deliveries and loading schedules.
• Ensuring all equipment is checked, cleaned, and maintained according to site procedures.
• Conducting routine quality and safety checks during production and loading.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures and Baiada site policies.

About you
As a control room operator you will bring hands-on experience working in a fast-paced production or feed mill environment. In addition, you will have:
 

• Availability to commit to Flexibility working 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Entry level computer experience. 
• A current Forklift License and relevant experience operating a forklift.
• Prior experience in a similar role is a preferred but not essential.
• Reliability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive in a team environment.
• Appropriate level of physical fitness and stamina to handle successfully perform the demands of the job role requirements.
