About the role
Reporting to a senior procurement leader, you will:
- Provide expert advice on contract management policy, procedures and best practice
- Lead the ongoing development and implementation of a contract management framework, including guidelines, templates and training
- Oversee contract management reviews and prepare high-quality performance and compliance reporting for senior stakeholders
- Maintain and optimise the contract management system to support strong governance and data-driven decision-making
- Mentor and coach contract managers across the organisation to lift capability and consistency
- Manage and develop a small team, promoting high performance and professional growth
- Support complex issue resolution, negotiations and formal dispute processes in collaboration with legal and procurement stakeholders
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging contract governance practices
- Managing risk, compliance and performance across a broad and diverse contract portfolio
- Balancing multiple, time-sensitive priorities in a complex stakeholder environment
- Influencing and supporting teams with varying levels of contract management maturity
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in contract management, procurement governance or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of contract performance frameworks, continuous improvement and risk management
- Proven ability to engage, influence and advise senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- Experience mentoring, coaching or leading others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional report writing
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Experience developing and delivering training or capability uplift initiatives
