We are seeking an experienced Construction Advisor to support the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of site-based construction projects across a new mine build project. This is a hands-on, field-focused role where strong contractor engagement, safety leadership and construction assurance are critical to success.
About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent / Delivery Lead, you will provide day-to-day construction execution support, contractor assurance and site coordination across multi-disciplinary works. You’ll work closely with Delivery Leads, site operations, H&S teams and contracting partners to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong field leadership through daily site engagement, pre-starts and contractor coaching
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ, Contractor Management Systems and Australian Standards
- Support construction execution, progress tracking, issue resolution and contractor performance
- Coordinate permits, site access, work readiness and mobilisation activities
- Complete daily diaries, reporting and maintain compliant project documentation
- Support shutdown planning, execution and close-out activities
- Proven experience in site-based construction delivery across civil (strong emphasis on Civil), mechanical, electrical or structural works
- Strong understanding of contractor management, safety systems and construction governance
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and coach contractors in the field
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting discipline
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-risk operational environments
- FIFO 8:6 roster ex Perth
- Exposure to large-scale sustaining capital projects
