The role This is a hands‑on, outdoor maintenance role supporting bushland and reserve areas in Dingley Village.
The work is physical and field‑based, focused on vegetation management and general land care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using tools, and getting stuck into practical conservation and maintenance work.
What you’ll be doing
- Brushcutting and vegetation control
- Manual labour associated with bushland and reserve maintenance
- Identifying and working with indigenous/native plant species
- Supporting general land management and site upkeep
- Following safety procedures and working as part of a field crew
- Experience using a brushcutter
- Indigenous/native plant identification skills
- Comfortable with manual, physical outdoor work
- Ability to work on-site and follow direction
- Availability to start ASAP and commit through to 19 June
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Chemical Users Certificate / Herbicide Applicators Licence
- Chainsaw ticket (Level 1)
- Valid Right to Work in Australia
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and pre‑employment medical assessments
