A growing Melbourne-based 3PL and fulfilment business is seeking an experienced CartonCloud implementation specialist to lead the rollout of CartonCloud into their Cheltenham warehouse operation.
This is a focused, hands-on contract engagement suited to someone who has delivered CartonCloud (or a comparable WMS) implementations before and can bring both technical knowledge and practical warehousing context to the project.
The Background
The business operates a B2C warehousing and fulfilment operation out of Cheltenham and is implementing CartonCloud as part of a broader operational consolidation program. The immediate focus is on successfully standing up CartonCloud within the Cheltenham site, with the understanding that this work will feed into a wider systems review as the broader consolidation progresses.
The Role
You will lead the end-to-end implementation of CartonCloud within the Cheltenham warehouse operation. This includes system configuration, workflow design, testing, go-live support and team training. You will work closely with the internal warehouse team, customer services and an IT support partner to deliver a stable, fully operational system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of CartonCloud within the Cheltenham warehouse environment
- Configure CartonCloud to reflect existing and required workflows, customer setups, rates and SKU structures
- Work with the internal warehouse team to map and document processes ahead of go-live
- Manage testing, issue resolution and sign-off
- Deliver team training and ensure operational confidence ahead of go-live
- Provide post go-live stabilisation support
- Liaise with IT support partners as required throughout the implementation
- Hands-on experience implementing CartonCloud in a live warehouse or 3PL environment (strongly preferred)
- Alternatively, strong WMS implementation experience with the ability to get across CartonCloud quickly
- Practical understanding of warehouse operations -- B2C fulfilment experience an advantage
- Ability to translate between operational requirements and system configuration
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and bring warehouse teams along through change
- Available to start promptly and commit to the full implementation timeline
Engagement Details
- Contract engagement (duration to be confirmed based on implementation scope)
- Day rate of $950 - $1,200 + GST / + super depending on engagement structure and experience
- Based in Cheltenham, VIC
