Capital Program Controller / Cost Controller
12‑month contract | Monday–Friday | Portland, Victoria | ASAP start
 
We’re seeking a Capital Program / Project Controls professional to step into a site-based role supporting a large industrial capital program in Portland, VIC.
 
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys owning cost control, forecasting, scheduling and performance reporting, while also managing several small capital purchase projects end‑to‑end.
 
What you’ll be doing
  • Portfolio-level cost control, budgeting & forecasting
  • Schedule & Earned Value tracking (CPI / SPI)
  • Primavera P6 schedule review and performance analysis
  • Monthly and weekly capital reporting
  • Change control, variance analysis and governance support
  • Light project management of minor capital works
 
What we’re looking for
  • Engineering background (preferred)
  • Strong cost controller / project controls experience
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6, EV, CPI, SPI
  • Industrial, brownfields or heavy asset environment experience a plus
  • Sharp communicator who spots risks early
