12‑month contract | Monday–Friday | Portland, Victoria | ASAP start
We’re seeking a Capital Program / Project Controls professional to step into a site-based role supporting a large industrial capital program in Portland, VIC.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys owning cost control, forecasting, scheduling and performance reporting, while also managing several small capital purchase projects end‑to‑end.
What you’ll be doing
- Portfolio-level cost control, budgeting & forecasting
- Schedule & Earned Value tracking (CPI / SPI)
- Primavera P6 schedule review and performance analysis
- Monthly and weekly capital reporting
- Change control, variance analysis and governance support
- Light project management of minor capital works
What we’re looking for
- Engineering background (preferred)
- Strong cost controller / project controls experience
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6, EV, CPI, SPI
- Industrial, brownfields or heavy asset environment experience a plus
- Sharp communicator who spots risks early
