We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for a short-term government assignment supporting court operations through audio monitoring and transcription quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Annotation
- Remotely monitor live court proceedings to ensure accurate and continuous audio recording
- Liaise with court staff to confirm recording systems are functioning effectively
- Annotate and label audio recordings to support downstream transcription
- Simultaneously monitor two courtrooms, maintaining high situational awareness
- Transfer speech-to-text outputs into approved Microsoft Word templates
- Format transcripts in line with established style guidelines
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure transcripts accurately reflect proceedings
- Identify and correct transcription, formatting, and content errors prior to finalisation
- Foundational understanding of court proceedings
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong multitasking ability, including managing concurrent live activities
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
- Strong listening and comprehension skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
