Essential Requirements:
- Excellent attitude and willingness to learn robotic welding
- Computer skills needed
- Experience in leadership or quality (from a documentation and process control standpoint)
- Execute WPSs: adjust parameters, torch angles, travel speed, wire/gas as required
- Inspect & document: perform VT during runs, record lot numbers, heat numbers, parameters, and production data in line with QA requirements
- Ability to read engineering drawings and WPs to follow quality procedures
- Familiarity with basic robot interfaces; offline programming experience is a plus
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering - Fabrication Stream preferred
- Extensive experience with MIG/GMAW welding
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safe work practices and quality standards
- Australian citizen
Desirable:
- Experience in fabrication of robotic equipment
What’s on Offer:
- Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, infrequent overtime required
- Competitive salary, $90,000 - $125,000 p/a (based on experience)
