We're currently supprorting a Queensland Government transport delivery organisation responsible for delivering major rail infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. The team is focused on coordinated delivery, collaboration and improving network capacity, safety and accessibility, while supporting flexible and balanced ways of working.

The Principal Procurement Advisor is sought to provide senior‑level procurement leadership and advice across a major rail infrastructure program. Operating at AO7 level, the role supports effective procurement strategy, governance, probity and contract management across multiple live delivery packages.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior procurement advice to management and project teams
  • Lead procurement strategy for complex, high‑value infrastructure works
  • Support effective contract management and delivery outcomes
  • Identify and manage procurement risks and compliance requirements
  • Ensure alignment with Qld Government procurement and probity frameworks
  • Engage and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders

About You
  • Experience leading complex procurement within major infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland Government procurement frameworks
  • High standards of probity, governance and accountability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Senior advisory capability in multidisciplinary environments
  • Rail or large‑scale infrastructure experience (highly regarded)
