Chandler Macleod is seeking a proactive and organised WHS & Risk Administrator to support the coordination, maintenance and ongoing effectiveness of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and risk management practices within a professional corporate environment.

This role is focused on practical support, follow‑up and assurance, working closely with operational teams to ensure safety systems, risk registers and governance documentation are current, understood and applied in day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and currency of WHS documentation, including Safety Management Systems (SMS), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and registers

  • Liaise with operational teams to coordinate updates and reviews of safety documentation

  • Work with Human Resources to ensure WHS documentation is communicated and accessible to employees

  • Monitor WHS compliance and escalate gaps or risks through appropriate governance channels

  • Coordinate and consolidate updates to risk registers

  • Support operational teams to embed risk considerations into daily activities

  • Prepare agendas, papers and minutes for Risk Management Committee meetings

  • Track and follow up actions arising from WHS, risk and governance forums

  • Assist with communication of risk and WHS policies and procedures

  • Provide governance and administrative support to senior leaders, including board papers, minute taking, compliance tracking and reporting

  • Provide reception relief when required on a rotational or short‑notice basis

  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Professional, service‑oriented and stakeholder‑focused

  • A self‑starter who can work autonomously and prioritise effectively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
