Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborating with units across Council to produce all website projects and initiatives, from establishing purpose, through to production and delivery. Ensure website remains primary point for accurate and up-to-date information for residents. Report on website activity monthly. Maintain email database and distribute eNewsletters, support social media and media functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all website updates, projects, and digital content from brief to completion.
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s website, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned to AA accessibility standards.
- Provide support for the organisation’s internal website and ensure timely updates.
- Produce monthly website performance reports and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the customer email database and support delivery of eNewsletters and community engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate with communications, design, social media, video and IT teams to ensure consistent messaging and quality digital delivery.
- Assist in maintaining digital contracts relating to web services and eNewsletters.
- Tertiary qualification in website design, development, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in website management or online services.
- Experience with major CMS platforms, HTML and CSS.
- Experience in customer engagement and working with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Google Analytics and improving SEO.
- Experience building and sending eNewsletters.
- High level research, copywriting, editing and content‑creation capability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
- Ability to learn new software and digital tools quickly.
- Demonstrated creative problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Current Class C driver’s licence.
- Graphic design experience (image editing, visual content creation).
- Understanding of online marketing and brand awareness development.
- Experience reviewing or maintaining digital contracts or agreements.
