In this role, you will assist in the efficient delivery of waste management services while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining plant and equipment, supporting site operations, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for staff and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain plant and equipment within the waste management section
- Assist with general labouring duties across the site
- Provide a high level of customer service to site users
- Support daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding site requirements and procedures
Essential:
- Current Class C driver licence with manual driving capability
- Hepatitis A & B immunisation or willing to obtain
- General labouring experience and willingness to perform a variety of tasks
- Basic digital literacy skills
- Ability to work rostered shifts, including occasional work outside standard hours
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, proactive, and able to use initiative
- HR licence
- Experience operating a weighbridge, including cash handling and computer systems
- Experience operating heavy plant and machinery
- Construction Industry White Card
- Weekend availability is preferred but not essential
