You will work as part of a site‑based maintenance team, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting production targets while maintaining a strong safety focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and fault‑finding across fixed and mobile plant
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site safety and statutory requirements
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and shift handovers
- Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams
- Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
- Underground mining experience essential
- Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
- Sound knowledge of underground electrical systems and site safety standards
- Ability to work autonomously on shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- WA Electrical Licence
- Current First Aid
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
- Previous experience on underground mobile plant or fixed plant
- HV switching or additional site‑based tickets
