The Shire is seeking a Town Maintenance Officer – Irrigation to support the installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems servicing parks, gardens and landscaped public spaces in Tom Price.
This role is critical to ensuring efficient and sustainable water delivery across town assets while maintaining a high standard of presentation for the community.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair irrigation systems across parks and public landscapes
• Troubleshoot irrigation system faults and performance issues
• Adjust timers, valves and controllers to optimise system operation
• Replace damaged or faulty irrigation components
• Ensure systems operate efficiently, sustainably and in line with water management practices

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience working with a variety of irrigation systems
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• Ability to work outdoors in a regional environment

Irrigation qualifications are highly advantageous.
