We’re seeking a Specialist Local Sourcing professional to join a growing operation in Wollongong on a casual basis, with a clear pathway to permanency for the right person.
The Role You’ll support category leadership across strategic sourcing events and post-award contract management, ensuring cost optimisation, supplier performance, and commercial discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead domestic and offshore sourcing strategies
- Negotiate and optimise supplier relationships
- Apply market intelligence and data analysis to drive outcomes
- Develop scopes of work and manage contract amendments
- Support stakeholder engagement across operations and finance
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement/supply (Mining & Metals preferred)
- Strong sourcing-to-contract knowledge
- Confident negotiator who operates autonomously
- Commercially sharp, proactive, and stakeholder-focused
