Pay Rate:$73p/h inclusive of super
We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Advisor to lead and embed effective risk management across a large, complex projects portfolio.
This role supports the delivery of major infrastructure and network change programs, ensuring risks are identified, managed and treated in line with enterprise frameworks, legislative requirements and industry best practice.
You will partner closely with project teams and senior leaders to strengthen risk maturity, support informed decision‑making and ensure risks are managed throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement risk management practices across a portfolio of major projects
- Ensure compliance with ISO 31000, enterprise risk frameworks and rail safety legislation
- Plan and facilitate project and operational risk assessments and reviews
- Monitor and analyse risk data, controls and treatments, recommending improvements
- Develop robust risk treatment plans to ensure risks are managed SFAIRP
- Prepare risk reports and briefings for Senior and Executive Leadership
- Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to embed risk into day‑to‑day decisions
- Deliver risk management training to uplift organisational capability
- Demonstrated experience in project, infrastructure or rail risk management
- Strong understanding of ISO 31000 Risk Management Guidelines
- Experience working within highly regulated environments(rail, construction, transport, infrastructure)
- Ability to lead risk workshops, assessments and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting
- Experience managing risk across the full project lifecycle
- Degree in risk, engineering, business, science or a related discipline
- Formal training in contemporary risk management
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
