Senior Project Officer – Brisbane CBD
 
Start: ASAP
End Date: 30 June 2026 (possible extension)
Hours: 40 per week
Rate: $70/hour + super
Location: Brisbane CBD 
 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer who can operate autonomously and provide practical, hands-on project support across multiple initiatives. This role requires someone who can independently produce high-quality project documentation, maintain governance registers, and support financial and status reporting with minimal direction.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Produce clear, decision-ready project reports, dashboards, and documentation.
- Maintain the RAID register and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues.
- Support financial tracking, including monitoring budgets and variances.
- Coordinate project meetings and governance forums, including agendas, minutes, and action follow-ups.
- Maintain project schedules and assist with planning activities.
- Ensure effective communication and information flow across the project team.
 
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in structured project environments (preferably ICT).
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce high-quality project documentation.
- Hands-on experience managing RAID registers.
- Experience supporting financial reporting and forecasting.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
 
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting ICT or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project and Excel dashboards.
