Looking for a short, sharp contract where you can step in and make an immediate impact? This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project or Interface Manager who knows how to keep complex government infrastructure projects on track without the drama.
About the Role
You’ll act as the key link between State Government project teams and a local council environment, supporting major transport and infrastructure projects. Your focus will be on coordinating information, managing stakeholders, tracking actions and ensuring local interests and assets are properly considered throughout project delivery.
This role is less about construction and more about communication, coordination and problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with State Government authorities and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings, actions and information flow across project teams
- Review designs, construction impacts and handover considerations
- Manage documentation, agreements, budgets and reimbursements
- Prepare briefings, updates and progress reports for senior stakeholders
- Strong project management experience in government or infrastructure environments
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and external authorities
- Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills
- Ability to step in quickly and add value from day one
