Roadworker /Truck Driver

Prefer working outdoors over sitting at a desk? Know your way around a truck and don’t mind getting your hands dirty? We’re looking for a Roadworker / MR Truck Driver to join a hardworking crew based in Armidale.

We are looking for someone who is local to Armidale who enjoys variety, practical work, and being part of a team that keeps the community moving.

What You’ll Be Doing

• General road maintenance and labouring duties
• Operating an MR truck
• Manual handling and use of power tools
• Supporting the crew on-site
• Attending call-outs when required

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
• 9-day fortnight
• Rostered Day Off every second Friday

Some living away from home may be required (approximately 2 days per week).

What You’ll Need

• MR or HR Truck Licence
• Workers on Foot ticket
• White Card
• Experience with manual handling and power tools
• Ability to pass a Police Check
