Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Roadworker to join their team on a fixed-term contract based in Mardi, NSW. This role is ideal for candidates with construction or maintenance experience who are looking for consistent weekday work with occasional night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with road maintenance and construction activities
- Work safely in live traffic environments
- Perform general labouring duties as required
- Follow safety procedures, site instructions, and code of conduct requirements
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Night work: Occasional night shifts from 6:00pm (8-hour shifts)
- Weekends: No weekend work required
- Living Away from Home: No
- White Card
- Workers on Foot (WOF) (can be completed post-commencement if deemed suitable)
- Traffic Control qualification
- Previous construction or maintenance experience highly regarded
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong safety awareness and reliability
- Successful Police Check
- Two reference checks
- Right to work in Australia
