Service Technician / Field Service Technician Residential to Newman, WA | 12‑Hour Day Shifts

About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled Service Technician / Field Service Technician to join their site‑based service team in Newman, WA. This is a residential position supporting the maintenance, servicing and repair of equipment across site operations.

The role operates on 12‑hour day shifts and suits a hands‑on technician who enjoys working in a field‑based environment with strong safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and fault‑finding on equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown response
  • Install, test and commission equipment as required
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Liaise with site stakeholders and provide professional customer support
  • Work in line with site safety procedures and company policies
About You
  • Trade qualification or strong technical background (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
  • Previous experience in a service technician or field service role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a site‑based environment
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Able to commit to a residential Newman role and 12‑hour day shifts
Requirements
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
  • HR driver’s licence highly regarded
