We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to support our clients People & Culture team. This is a 6-month temporary role reporting to the Manager, Employee Services, with no extension anticipated at this stage.
About the Role
As the Recruitment Advisor, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver timely, compliant and high-quality recruitment outcomes. You will play a key role in delivering a positive candidate experience while ensuring recruitment practices align with business objectives and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and effective job advertisements, recommend appropriate advertising channels, place and track advertisements, and coordinate interview logistics.
- Lead and support interview processes in partnership with hiring managers, ensuring adherence to organisational policies, EEO principles and privacy legislation.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on best-practice recruitment and selection techniques.
- Conduct reference checks and complete other pre-employment and onboarding requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with recruitment agencies and external providers.
- Prepare and deliver ad hoc recruitment reports to the Manager, Employee Services and Senior People & Culture Business Partners to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of People & Culture policies, ensuring they align with contemporary recruitment practices and business needs.
- Support strategic and innovative recruitment initiatives as required.
- Assist with the maintenance of employee records and recruitment documentation within HR systems.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in recruitment, with demonstrated capability managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a commitment to delivering a consistent and positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of current HR practices, industrial relations, and employment legislation.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
- Demonstrated integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise and negotiate at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced using Human Resource Management Information Systems.
