Our government client has a newly established division within the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure—they are responsible for planning, procurement, financing and delivering the State’s most complex, high‑value infrastructure projects across the health, justice, cultural, sporting, emergency services and primary industry sectors.
To support the rapid establishment of their operating environment, we are seeking four highly experienced temporary personnel
All roles commence as soon as possible for a period of up to 12 months.

Available Opportunities:

1. 
Alliance Contracting and Delivery Lead

This senior role will provide executive-level leadership across major alliance‑based contracts and delivery programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and delivery of major health and cultural infrastructure projects
  • Managing multistakeholder engagement to support design development and approvals
  • Providing commercial oversight across procurement and delivery phases
  • Establishing a delivery culture within the business
  • Applying expert knowledge of alliance contracting models
Required experience:
  • Demonstrated recent experience successfully delivering complex major infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to lead civil engineering, building, linear infrastructure or marine works through all phases of the project lifecycle

2. Business Frameworks Implementation Lead

This role drives the establishment of contemporary business systems, processes and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mapping and documenting OMID’s core business processes
  • Implementing controls across key risk areas including contract, finance, project and program management
  • Designing and embedding frameworks for program/project management
  • Developing systems solutions to support a modern delivery function
  • Leading change and presenting implementation plans to Executives
Required experience:
  • Recent experience delivering similar organisational frameworks
  • Strong background in program and project management
  • Executive‑level report writing and communication capability.
3. Asset Management and Process Lead

This role will shape project delivery and asset lifecycle management frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating standardised project and program delivery models in collaboration with the Business Frameworks Lead
  • Establishing end‑to‑end process frameworks across scoping, design, construction and handover
  • Developing assurance processes aligned to cost, time and quality for major infrastructure
  • Embedding mechanisms to ensure project requirements are managed throughout the asset lifecycle
Required experience:
  • Recent demonstrated experience developing asset management and project delivery frameworks
  • Strong leadership and specialist technical understanding of asset management principles
4. Health Infrastructure Planning Lead

This specialist role provides strategic and technical leadership in the planning and design of health infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading planning frameworks aligned to Australian health design standards
  • Driving development of standardised design approaches across health infrastructure
  • Working with designers, constructors and clinicians to ensure functional and technical outcomes
  • Supporting health master planning, including major precincts such as Royal Perth
  • Providing expert advice on design reviews across a portfolio of major health projects
Required experience:
  • Contemporary knowledge of Australasian health infrastructure guidelines
  • Demonstrated executive experience in health infrastructure planning
  • Proven ability to support design development and master planning in major health settings
