The Opportunity
We’re seeking a capable Project Engineer (Electrical) to join a well-established team delivering industrial projects on Kooragang Island. Working under an experienced Project Lead, you’ll play a key role in commissioning, documentation, and overall project delivery—while continuing to build your technical and project management capability.
This role will suit someone hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working across both engineering and site-based activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project delivery and commissioning activities
- Prepare and manage as-built documentation for electrical systems
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines
- Identify risks and contribute practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Provide technical input across electrical and control systems
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years’ experience in project engineering (industrial environment preferred)
- Strong experience with commissioning and as-built documentation
- Exposure to PLC systems(e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar)
- Solid understanding of project delivery processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Work alongside a highly experienced Project Lead
- Exposure to complex, real-world industrial projects
- Strong pathway to develop into a more senior project role
