Project Delivery Engineer – Fixed Plant | FIFO 8:6 | 
  • 6-month initial contract with strong potential to convert to permanent (FTE)
  • FIFO from Perth and Busselton
  • 8:6 roster (Wednesday to Wednesday swing)
  • Opportunity to work on a brownfields fixed plant upgrade project
  • Exposure to a Tier 1 mining operation
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Rate : $80 -$90.00
The Role An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Delivery Engineer to join a major mining operation at Yandi, supporting the delivery of key fixed plant upgrade and refurbishment works.
This role will focus on brownfields projects including chute refurbishments, thickener recoating and skirting upgrades. You will work closely with a team of Supervisors and Engineers to ensure safe, efficient and timely project delivery across site.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver fixed plant upgrade and refurbishment projects from execution through to completion
  • Coordinate design, construction and operational interfaces
  • Oversee works including chutes, skirting systems and recoating activities
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to maintain project progress
  • Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with site standards
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive project outcomes
  • Monitor progress to ensure delivery against scope, schedule and quality requirements
About You
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural preferred)Electrical, Civil or Mining disciplines considered with relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project delivery within mining or heavy industry
  • Demonstrated experience working on fixed plant projects
  • Strong understanding of brownfields project environments
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong focus on safety, delivery and continuous improvement
