Pay Rate:$44.62–$47.44 per hour (incl. 25% casual loading)
About the Role We are seeking a Production Support Coordinator to join our Newcastle Wire Mill in a newly created role supporting production supervisors and site operations.
This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations through accurate administration, SAP system support, reporting, and coordination of essential site processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data entry and maintenance of operational records
- SAP transactions including requests, updates, and processing
- Invoice processing and basic procurement support
- Stock, consumables, and PPE management
- Report preparation and general administrative support
- Supporting supervisors with documentation and workflow coordination
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (SAP or similar systems highly regarded)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive approach and willingness to improve processes
Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional medical assessment
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Strong computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
- Full-time onsite availability in Newcastle (no hybrid working)
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a critical production environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team where your work directly contributes to operational efficiency and continuity.
This role is initially temporary, with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate who demonstrates capability, reliability, and initiative.
