Plant Operators and Roadworkers

We are currently seeking experienced Road Workers and Plant Operators based in Orange, with work taking place between Wellington and Lithgow. These roles are ideal for candidates with civil construction or labouring experience who are comfortable working outdoors as part of a team on road and infrastructure projects.

Pay Rates

• Road Worker: $40.26 per hour + super (PAYG)
• Plant Operator: $43.52 per hour + super (PAYG)

Hours of Work

• 7:00am – 4:00pm
• 8.5 hour days
• 9-day fortnight (Monday – Friday roster)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of physical labouring and road maintenance tasks
• Operate hand and power tools, equipment and machinery
• Assist Trades Workers, Machinery Operators and Drivers
• Work effectively individually and within a team environment
• Support road construction and maintenance activities across multiple sites

Required Tickets / Licences

• Construction White Card
• Workers on Foot ticket
• Driver’s Licence
• MR licence required for Road Worker roles (HR preferred)

Skills & Experience

• Previous civil labouring or road work experience
• Mobile plant operation experience (for Plant Operator roles)
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
• Strong teamwork and safety focus
