Pay Rate:  $45.69 per hour + Super (PAYG)
Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight
Work Arrangement: 9-day fortnight
Travel Requirement: Approx. 90% of work involves camping away from home

About the Role Transport for NSW is seeking two experienced Plant Operators to join our Sealing Crew based out of Narrandera. This role involves sealing works on highways and regional roads and requires a high level of physical capability, teamwork, and flexibility to travel and camp away for extended periods.

The majority of work will be away from Narrandera. Travel will be considered, and Living Away From Home Allowances will be paid when working away.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multi-tyre rollers and assist with other plant items as required
  • Participate in sealing operations on highways and roads
  • Manual handling tasks including installing and removing stick and stops, bending, squatting, lifting, and sustained physical work
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing sealing crew
  • Adhere to all safety, traffic control, and operational requirements
Essential Requirements
  • Construction White Card
  • WOF
  • Traffic Control ticket
  • Minimum C Class Driver Licence, with willingness to upgrade to a Truck licence
  • Experience operating multi-tyre rollers
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour in outdoor conditions
  • Willing and able to camp away from home for extended periods
  • Ability to pass a Police Check
