About Our Client
Our client, operates site workshops at MTW
and provides maintenance and servicing of heavy mining haul trucks and equipment.
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Plant Mechanics
to work on heavy mining equipment both in the workshop and on-site. This hands-on role involves maintenance, repairs, and preventative servicing, ensuring all machinery meets operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair heavy plant and mining equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer and site schedules.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Comply with all site safety procedures, PPE, and induction requirements.
- Trade-qualified Plant Mechanic (Fitter/Turner or Heavy Diesel Fitter).
- Order 43 certification require, or willingness to complete
- MTW site induction completed or willingness to complete.
- Relevant tickets (forklift, elevated work platform) desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Hourly Rate: up to $75/hr + super
- Temporary role with potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate.
- Lifestyle roster 5/4, Monday–Friday.
- Immediate start, subject to approvals.
