Pay Rate: $67.83 ph. plus Super

About the Role
In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for delivering complex mechanical services including installation, maintenance, testing, fault-finding, repair and commissioning of assets across the facility. Working within the Operations Group, you’ll support both scheduled and reactive maintenance while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.

Duties

• Based at the Woodman Point Water Resource Recovery facility so will be working around wastewater
• Undertake scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance on water and wastewater systems
• Perform complex isolation and shutdown procedures
• Diagnose faults using SCADA and other remote data systems
• Plan, prepare, and execute maintenance projects
• Mentor apprentices and support operators with mechanical guidance
• Coordinate work on-site and supervise contractors as required
• Liaise with engineers to resolve complex technical issues
• Support daily operational priorities and participate in call-out rosters

• Mechanical Trade Certificate – Fitter (Turner/Machinist)
• WA MR Class Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Dogman Ticket
• Confined Space Entry competency
• SCBA & atmospheric monitoring competency
• Strong experience in pumping systems, hydraulics and gas chlorination
• Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Water industry experience (preferred)

• HR Class Driver’s Licence
• Under 10 tonne Hiab crane ticket
