Mechanical Fitter

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a leading industrial site in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role within a safety-focused maintenance team.

What’s on Offer

• $43.98 – $49.37/hr + $21.45 tool allowance + shift penalties
• 9-day fortnight roster (Day Work or rotating shifts)
• Ongoing training and development

Key Duties

• Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Overhauls on fixed plant equipment
• Updating maintenance systems and completing reports

About You

• Cert III Mechanical Trade or equivalent
• Experience with fixed plant maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Hydraulics/pneumatics and SAP experience highly regarded
• Forklift or EWP tickets desirable
