About the role:
In your new role as a Maintenance Trade Assistant with a plumbing trade at the Baiada Processing Plant, you will support the maintenance team in:

• Assisting with routine plumbing maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on plant systems and equipment.
• Supporting the efficient and safe operation of plumbing, water, and waste systems to minimise downtime.
• Responding to breakdowns and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks.
• Working alongside production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations across the site.
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with updates to maintenance management systems.
• Supporting the installation of new plumbing systems and plant upgrades.
• Always following Baiada’s safety procedures and policies.

 
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A plumbing trade or relevant industry experience (TA with plumbing background).
• Previous experience in maintenance support—preventative and/or reactive.
• Basic skills in plumbing repairs, pipework assistance, and installation support.
• Confidence using tools and equipment relevant to plumbing and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills for working with maintenance and production teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
