Our client is a proudly family-owned hospitality company operating a portfolio of hotels and businesses across Western Australia.
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor
to be based in Norseman, supporting our clients sister site in Balladonia.
This is a key role within two busy regional Roadhouses located along the iconic Nullarbor Plain. If you are practical, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a regional environment where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), with the requirement to be on call outside normal hours when needed. You will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the properties.
Given the regional location and limited access to external contractors, this role requires someone who can think on their feet, troubleshoot effectively, and work autonomously.
What’s on offer:
- Full-time, 38-hour week
- On-call requirements as needed
- Individual or couple staff housing provided
- Three meals a day provided
- Access to a company works vehicle (manual licence required)
- Stable employment within a respected WA family-owned group
- Grounds maintenance and landscaping across the property
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing, electrical and painting work
- Generator servicing and basic power maintenance
- Gas bottle changeovers
- Pressure washing forecourts and common areas
- Preventative maintenance scheduling
- Troubleshooting mechanical and equipment issues
- Ensuring properties are safe, compliant and well-presented
- Be mechanically minded with a broad maintenance skillset
- Have experience in plumbing, electrical, painting and general handyman work
- Be physically capable of maintaining large grounds
- Work well independently and manage your time effectively
- Have strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Hold a current manual driver’s licence
- Enjoy regional living and being part of a small community
If you are looking for a stable, hands-on role where you can truly make an impact and enjoy the lifestyle of regional Western Australia, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.
