We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Program Planner to support the delivery, coordination and optimisation of technical and corporate training programs across a major South Australian organisation.
This temporary assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, operationally focused environment where your planning, scheduling and stakeholder engagement skills will directly contribute to capability and compliance outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will take ownership of planning and scheduling technical (85–90%) and corporate (10–15%) training programs. You will coordinate sessions, manage enrolments, liaise with trainers and business units, and use reporting insights to support workforce development and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, operational environment and enjoys balancing structure, communication, coordination and data‑driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update training plans aligned to operational and workforce needs.
- Schedule and coordinate all training sessions, enrolments and communications.
- Use LMS and compliance data to track attendance, completions and emerging risks.
- Provide timely reports and insights to leaders and stakeholders.
- Partner with trainers, operational leaders and planners to optimise workforce participation.
- Coordinate logistics, room setup, resources and provider engagement.
- Implement and improve processes to enhance training delivery efficiency.
- Ensure all procurement and governance requirements are met.
You will bring:
- Experience planning and managing training or workforce development programs.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use data to inform decisions and monitor training compliance.
- Confidence working with trainers, leaders and operational teams.
- Familiarity with LMS systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Ability to problem‑solve and adapt plans as business needs evolve.
- Understanding of technical or safety‑critical work environments.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment(desirable).
- 3‑month full‑time assignment, with potential for extension or temp‑to‑perm.
- Based at Adelaide CBD (Victoria Square).
- Hourly rate: $57.69 + superannuation.
