About the Role
As an HVAC Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping heating, cooling, and ventilation systems running safely and efficiently. Your day could include scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, completing repairs, or supporting apprentices on-site.
You’ll work across metro Adelaide and occasionally travel to regional locations, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and reliable outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Completing routine servicing and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting faults with confidence
  • Carrying out repairs, adjustments, and component replacements
  • Providing clear and accurate job documentation, safety checks, and service reports
  • Following all safety requirements, permits, and procedures
  • Identifying hazards and contributing to safe work practices
  • Supporting and guiding apprentices to ensure safe, quality workmanship
  • Communicating effectively with clients, supervisors, and office staff
  • Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment to a high standard
  • Participating in occasional on‑call or after-hours work
What You’ll Bring
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent qualification)
  • ARCtick licence
  • Restricted Electrical Licence (SA)
  • Current SA driver’s licence
  • White Card
  • Strong skills in fault-finding, servicing, and repairs
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and high‑quality work
  • Ability to work across metro and regional locations
  • Experience overseeing apprentices (advantageous)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable (not essential):
  • First Aid/CPR
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, etc.)
  • Experience using digital job management systems
  • Exposure to government or highly regulated environments
