About the role
Our client is a well-established Australian business seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role supporting senior management and contributing to the overall business strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a standalone, full-time Human Resources Manager position responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned to business objectives.
 
You will operate as a true generalist across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, safety, training and workforce planning, partnering closely with senior leadership across all operational departments. 
 

Duties

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Lead performance management systems including development plans and employee programs
  • Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations and industrial matters, including Enterprise Agreement compliance
  • Oversee workers compensation claims, return-to-work processes and workplace investigations
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, training programs and workforce planning initiatives
 
 
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law, HR best practice, awards and enterprise agreements
  • Strong industrial relations and employee relations experience
  • Knowledge of HR systems, databases and payroll processes
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
