About the role
Our mining producer client (silver & lead) needs 2 x HSEC Advisors to provide health and safety governance during the execution of a Capital project at their remote mining site located in North Western Queensland. It will involve a tailings dam raise storage facility with booster pump station. Execution of tollgate is projected in mid-April with the team to be on-site early May through until a projected end date of February 2027.
If successful, you will be rewarded with:

- Certificate IV in WHS or higher
- Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing line management
- A visible and engaged HSEC leader Operational/ Projects
- 5+ years’ construction experience in mining infrastructure projects
- Capital projects experience
- Contractor management experience
- Major Hazard Facility (MHF) experience (Desirable)
- Stakeholder Engagement experience: demonstrated capability to develop sound working relationships
- Investigation Methods (ICAM and Timeline 5 Whys methods preferred)
- Training and Assessment Qualifications well regarded
- Familiarity with incident reporting databases and investigation tools
- Structured, system-level thinking
