HR Business Partner – Permanent | Sydney CBD | Hybrid (4 office days, 1 WFH)
A leading global property & investment organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner
to support their Sydney office. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership, deliver end‑to‑end HR operations, and help shape a positive, high‑performance culture.
You’ll play a hands‑on role across the full HR lifecycle, including policy development, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, performance management, and HR reporting, for a growing office of approximately 30 employees.
This is a permanent, Sydney‑based, hybrid
role (up to 1 day WFH per week), offering a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR business partnering to local leaders and employees across the full HR spectrum.
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance management & workforce administration.
- Maintain and update HR policies to ensure adherence to Australian employment laws ®gulations.
- Oversee HR reporting, data integrity and basic payroll coordination activities.
- Support office administration areas such as access control, inventory, and general office matters.
- Build strong internal relationships and be an approachable, positive HR presence in the office.
- Assist with cyclical processes including remuneration reviews, bonus cycles, and talent programs.
- Strong HR generalist or HRBP experience with exposure to Australian legislation.
- Confident with HR systems (SuccessFactors desirable but not required).
- Strong MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint capability.
- Stable career history with demonstrated progression and accountability over time.
- Experienced in small‑to‑medium office environments or standalone HR roles.
- Professional, positive attitude with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Ideally experience in property/real estate/finance industries.
- Able to commence ASAP or within a standard notice period.
