About the Role
As a Hatchery Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the hatchery. Working closely with the site team, you’ll assist with records, reporting, and communication while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide general administrative support to the hatchery team
- Manage data entry, filing, and accurate record‑keeping
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and customer or stakeholder inquiries
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and inventory documentation
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in line with operational and compliance requirements.
About you
You’re an organised and reliable administrator who enjoys supporting site operations and working as part of a team. You’ll bring:
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data and record‑keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Previous administration experience (preferred but not essential)
