GPS Excavator Operator

We’re seeking experienced GPS Excavator Operators to join our team working across major Rio Tinto operations in the Pilbara.

What’s on Offer

• $62 – $68 per hour(experience dependent)
• 12.5‑hour shifts – super paid on all hours
• 8:6 and 7:7 roster (alternating)
• Mix of days and nights
• FIFO ex Perth / Busselton
• Ongoing, long‑term opportunities with a Tier 1 mining client
• Supportive crew culture and stable site conditions

About the Role You will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of excavators across site, including:

• Operating 50-90T excavators using Minestar GPS systems
• Digging sumps to spec
• Trimming batters and maintaining clean, accurate faces
• Working closely with survey and production teams
• Contributing to a safe and productive work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in mining or civil
• Strong competency with Minestar GPS
• Experience digging sumps and trimming batters
• Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
• Operator must already reside in WA
• Rio Tinto inductions highly regarded
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
