12‑Month Contract | $53–$57/hr + Super | ASAP Start
Hybrid (Frankston + WFH)
Join a leading essential‑services organisation (client confidential) supporting more than 1.7 million customers. With major system upgrades underway (including Oracle Fusion), this team needs an experienced Financial Accountant
to step in and provide critical support across accounting, reporting and reconciliation activity.
The Role
You’ll work with the Financial Controller and another Financial Accountant, providing end‑to‑end financial accounting support during a busy period of system transition and increased reporting demands.
This role suits a hands‑on all‑rounder
who enjoys technical accounting, problem‑solving and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver month‑end and year‑end financial accounting activities
- Prepare statutory and government reporting submissions
- Complete GL, sub‑ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support project accounting (WIP, journals, variance investigation)
- Maintain fixed assets including capitalisation, disposals & CWIP
- Assist with internal/external audits
- Strengthen internal controls, processes and policy documentation
- Work with finance and systems teams to resolve Oracle‑related issues
- 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (CPA/CA required)
- Experienced in statutory reporting and GL/sub‑ledger management
- Advanced reconciliation and variance investigation skills
- ERP experience (Oracle highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite in Frankston (increasing to 3 days from 1 May 2026)
- Flexible, supportive finance team with strong governance focus

- Police check + two reference checks before commencement
