**Field Technician – Core Processing
Winu (WA) | Copper–Gold Operation | 12‑Hour Shifts**

Join a major copper–gold project and build your technical field career at one of WA’s most significant remote exploration sites. We’re seeking experienced Field Technicians with strong core‑processing capability and the resilience to thrive in a remote mining environment.

About the Role As a Field Technician – Core Processing, you’ll support the geology team with accurate and efficient processing of drill core, ensuring high‑quality data delivery. This is a hands‑on role suited to candidates who enjoy physical, outdoor work in a team environment.


Key duties include:
  • Receiving, marking up, measuring, cutting and photographing core
  • Preparing and labelling core trays
  • Sampling, bagging and maintaining chain of custody
  • Data entry into logging and tracking systems
  • Keeping the core yard clean, safe and organised
  • Daily work under a dome‑covered core farm with nearby offices and amenities

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in core processing or field technician work
  • Exposure to remote mining or exploration fieldwork  
  • Physically fit and medically suitable for extreme remote conditions
  • Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts in hot weather
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Manual driver’s licence (4WD experience beneficial)
  • First Aid cert is desirable 

Site Conditions & Roster
  • Structured acclimatisation: reduced hours to begin with, paid as full shifts
  • Paid travel days on the 1st and 15th of each swing
  • Work on arrival day (light duties, early finish)
  • Village‑style accommodation with donga rooms, all within walking distance
  • Supportive geology and field team environment
